The Bunbunarik Children’s Hub

Bunbunarik Children’s Hub is located at 165 High Street, Heathcote Victoria. 

The Hub is a purpose built, integrated children’s service centre offering a holistic service system for Heathcote region’s children and families. Community consultation and involvement including Taungurung Aboriginal Community influencing the name relevant to their unique cultural heritage have been paramount in the development of the centre. The Hub framework and facilities also provide direct access to a 76 placement Early Learning and Long Day Care Centre.

Bunbunarik will offer early childhood education and care, as well as children and family related health and well-being services to the wider Heathcote region. In general, the focus is on improving early childhood development and wellbeing of children from birth to 12 years however this may also include children up to age 18 years should the need arise.

The unique nature of the shared premises of the Children’s Services Hub and Jennys ELC supports professional and expertise driven service delivery of early childhood and related family services at the determined point of need.

The range of services, programs and activities currently being developed and delivered continue to expand as a specific need is identified as determined via feedback from the Heathcote community through feasibility studies, surveys, and focus groups.

Our website will continually be updated as new services, programs and activities become available.


Heathcote Community Children’s Services Association Inc. has initiated collaborative relationships with a range of service providers to ensure the needs of Heathcote families are met. 

Free and/or low-cost children and family services are a major focus of Bunbunarik Children’s Hub. These services will be built upon as the Hub is established.


Bunbunarik Children’s Hub offers specialised programs and services for children, young people, and their parents and families

Our Child and Family programs work to support the health and development of young children and families within our community. These programs are continually updated and added to when a particular need is identified.


Our activities include; Free and/or low-cost workshops, play, training and special events.

Each of these activities are specially designed, planned and administered by the HCCSA Inc. team and our program and activities coordinator.
